High Museum of Art

High_150fThe High Museum of Art in Atlanta has grown to become the leading art museum in the Southeastern United States with its renowned collection of classic and contemporary art and renowned architecture by Richard Meier and Renzo Piano. The museum has served as host for a number of lectures and related programming activities with Lumière.

Atlanta Celebrates Photography

ACP_150fAtlanta Celebrates Photography (ACP) is dedicated to the cultivation of the photographic arts and the enrichment of the Atlanta art community. ACP hosts an annual, citywide photography program. The festival’s diverse offerings bring together professional and amateur photographers, general art enthusiasts, gallery owners, critics, and collectors. Lumière has co-sponsored multiple lectures with ACP and served as sponsor for fund raising programs.

Carter Presidential Library

JimmyCLibrary_150fThe Jimmy Carter Library and Museum is part of the Presidential Library system administered by the National Archives and Records Administration. The Library consists of an archives, a museum and exhibit space. It is not a library in the usual sense but is a research facility and a museum. The archives is a repository of approximately 27 million pages of Jimmy Carter’s White House material, papers of administration associates, including documents, memoranda, correspondence, etc. There are also 1/2 million photographs, and hundreds of hours film, audio and video tape.Lectures on conservation initiatives for both nature and architecture have been the base of this collaboration.

Atlanta Forum Network

Public Broadcasting Atlanta’s (PBA) Atlanta Forum Network (AFN) is an online, on-demand archive of discussions given by some of the world’s foremost scholars, authors, artists, scientists, policy-makers and community leaders. Through AFN, people across the world can listen and watch these events online. Featured events from the Forum Network can be seen directly on Lumière’s web site.

CDC Foundation

CDC_FoundfThe CDC Foundation helps the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention do more, faster by forging effective partnerships between CDC and individuals, foundations and corporations to fight threats to health and safety. The Foundation has provided support for photographic exhibitions at the Centers for Disease Control galleries.

Emory Global Health Institute

EGHIfThe Emory University Global Health Institute was established by the President of Emory University to develop innovative research, training, and programs to address the most pressing health challenges around the world, particularly in developing countries. Lumière has sponsored photographic competitions for interns traveling throughout the world on public health initiatives.

The Nature Conservancy

TNCfThe Nature Conservancy is the leading conservation organization working around the world to protect ecologically important lands and waters for nature and people. Sponsorship with Lumière and The Jimmy Carter Presidential Library of lectures on environmental and wildlife conversation have helped demonstrate the power of photography to contribute to the discussion of public policy issues.
