Rex Naden
Rex Naden represents a new thrust in photography.
One that embodies excellence in visualization and recording… taking advantage of advanced camera, processing, and printing technologies. He captures the best of the old – while shifting to the new as soon as proven better.
Naden’s forty year involvement in landscape photography and extensive outdoor experience build on the technical awareness from his years in the semiconductor industry.
He has translated his film knowledge and experience to equivalent digital renditions that extend the range of visual presentation. The resulting prints are of uncompromising quality. From fresh depictions of traditional landscapes to abstractions to remarkable views of celestial bodies, the depth and range of his work gives rise to the question: How did he do that?
Naden lives in California, where he has served as a trustee at the Center for Photographic Art and teaches at the Ansel Adams Gallery in Yosemite. He holds a PhD in Electrical Engineering from Rice University and 14 US Patents.
